Our Founders Ankush and Amit, grew up in the farming families in the village Longwala, a few kilometers from the Tehsil Pilibanga in Hanumangarh district. Both of them completed their 12th grade at the local Government School studying Agriculture. Later they completed their B.A. from Pilibanga.
They saw the farmers' desire and government’s incentives to try new Horticulture crops but also the struggle inherent in the change in crop pattern. Moving from old pattern to new, the farmers faced a lack of good understanding around growing new crops, finding the right market, ensuring the right type of storage or drying facility, and access to a full value chain. In order to sort this issue around, Ankush and Amit traveled to many parts of the country, trying to find a good solution for their area. After many trials and errors, they landed on the right solution for Fig and that's how AgroHabit was born! This is just the start of our journey - there are many more new Horticulture products to be explored and included.
